An important update on Coronavirus (COVID-19)

20 March 2020

During the COVID-19 outbreak we are putting the safety and wellbeing of our colleagues, students and suppliers at the forefront of everything we do.

Together we are stronger

During the COVID-19 outbreak we are putting the safety and wellbeing of our colleagues, students and suppliers at the forefront of everything we do.

We are all working hard, following Government and Public Health England, advice to maintain business as usual as far as possible.

Our focus is to help you and our employees stay safe and to offer you as much support as we can.

There are some things you can do to help:

  • Wash your hands regularly with soap and water for 20 seconds
  • Avoid all unnecessary travel and public transport
  • You should study/work from home where possible
  • Avoid contact with the elderly and those with underlying health conditions
  • Cover your mouth/nose when you sneeze or cough using a tissue or the crook of your arm. Dispose of the tissue in the bin and wash your hands immediately
  • Avoid large gatherings, pubs and clubs

Please keep up to date with the latest advice by checking the NHS website

What to do if you feel unwell:

  • If you feel unwell with any of the know COVID-19 symptoms (fever, persistent cough, shortness of breath) you should immediately self-isolate for 14 days and let reception know
  • Your flatmates should also do the same
  • If you symptoms worsen you should use the 111 online Coronavirus service or call NHS 111

Remember we can’t overcome this virus without all supporting each other and working together.

Thank you
